A gal and a guy can be real close friends only for a certain amount of time. They get any closer or any longer, it is either love or parting.

Please share your thoughts about this one.. I have seen numerous examples of this happening..
But not one refuting it.. Though I have heard about the friendship happening through media like radio, TV and journals I have not seen any incident on the friendship remaining..

i agree to what you say
although i would like a gal and guy to remain close friends even after they have found their mates but i dont think it happens in real life. one of the spouse is bound to get jealous

@ g3 : see , there is a limit understanding is gonna work. as anju says, the spouses gonna go crazy soon.

now imagine if ur spouse had a best frnd, a gal. i certainly wud go jealous if that happened.
and almost all, wud save their marriage than the frndship.

there is a limit to the closeness.

i think
It exists, despite it's rare..
Friendship as a general(in more rational) is way of filling the void(it may be professional, ethical, due to same interest etc.) of one's life. Freindship is same thing which makes a human a gregarious and social.

But there is only one thing, that is based on no compromise, no support, no filling of void and that is Love( a theoretical defintion)

As your friendship serves one's purpose(and rare it happens for a long time),
it lingers and when it no longer serves, either it has become Love or a parting...:)

Cheers!!

@ Amit : It does not always happen with same sex friendship. The probability increases with the different sex. Cos again, the jealousy factor comes to play.

Anyways, Cheerz! :)

Counter that one...
You can generalise thus if you want so, and there will be a fat lot of cases that'll back up your observation, but all I can say is that NOT ALWAYS.
Cheers anyway.

I understand you have seen cases like that?
Dont you think that arises from lack of trust you have for your spouse? Or are we talking about all eggs in the same basket?
Cheerz! :)

i dunno whether i might be able to answer this perfectly bot
"WHEN IT COMES TO LOVE or FRIENDSHIP GALS DONT HAVE THE SAME FREEDOM BOYS HAVE"

i dunno whether this will ever change bot this is the harsh reality of our generation....

@ Sathish : Welcome aboard. :)
I was mentioning about friendship between people of two different sex. And btw, even a guy has the same limits, [unless of course he does not care about his marital security] to have frnds from the opposite sex, closer than his spouse.
