Death Sentence

I'll take the blame on me.
So that you can walk off free.
Not that I have sinned.
But that I' ve a debt alive.
My wife and kids
and lesser debts to be paid,
all for God to be taken care by.
Till my soul do rest in peace,
I'll pray for you.
And them.
Till Death shall let me free.

A nice poem
I love poetry and I think this is one that needs to be considered as it sends a deep message to be remember. Jesus paid the prize of our sins by taking our death sentence on Him.

Please go through it again Olus. It is a husband's lament before he dies. Not anything to do with Jesus.
Well, I dont deny that he paid our price. But this is a completely different context.
Cheerz! And welcome aboard!
