I love being myself, with all the flaws and goodness in me.
Once, I remember telling a friend of mine when asked how I could love people so much, "You love yourself first. Then you start seeing yourself in others. And then you love others as much."
Corollary, "If you can't love yourself, you cant love others." [Same as what Jesus advised. 'Love others as you love yourself.']
And trust me, when I love the way I am, it is easier for me to love others. Including their imperfections.
And anyways, it is their imperfections that complete them. :)

Imperfection is what gives meaning to Perfection. More an imperfection, more beautiful and complete is the Perfection :)
Acceptance takes Strength for all its shine and dent. And love keeps cascading after that. Self love or selfless love, it knows no boundaries.
Just dissolving in it like a sugar-cube inside the hot milk, the feeling encompasses all and knows no seperate identity.

What I feel, unless one accept one's uniqueness, one's imperfection and perfection, one can not love oneself. The conflict arise at the very moment when we reject ourselves and try to be others.
So be in love is just a consequence of acceptance.....
One cannot say a selfish person that he is in love of himself. Why? because his selfishness reflects that he has not accepted himself in totality...he is lacking something..

I would say, narcissism and self love are different too.
Narcissism is being obsessed with self. Whereas self love is loving oneself. :)

@ Chowlaji : I grumble about lots of stuffs.
But those are never about me. But about the situations I am in and how I find it difficult to overcome them.
I grumble if I find life is not good.
Well, I have accepted myself with all my negatives and positives. Though I cant seem to accept the negatives of life. :D
